Starbucks is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Analysis Manager to join the Integrated Logistics Accounting team. This role is responsible for providing accounting leadership and financial stewardship for Starbucks' Transportation and Freight Pay operations. The position partners across Supply Chain, Transportation, Accounts Payable, Technology, and Finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain a strong control environment, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support a growing and complex business.
This role provides essential leadership and oversight for the freight audit and payment function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective financial stewardship of transportation and freight spend. The position is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional initiatives, driving process improvements, and maintaining a strong control environment through ownership of key SOX controls. It also requires exercising significant judgment in reviewing monthly accruals and accounting estimates provided by Finance teams, ensuring financial results are complete, accurate, and compliant with accounting policies. In addition, the role serves as a key liaison across Transportation Operations, Technology, Finance, and third-party service providers to resolve operational and system issues that impact the timely and accurate payment of freight invoices.
