Job summary

Coda Search│Staffing is seeking a seasoned accounting and finance professional to work directly with Fortune 1000 clients, large corporations, and PE-backed businesses on high-impact financial initiatives.

You’ll handle complex accounting matters, financial reporting under U.S. GAAP, FP&A, forecasting, and diligence activities, while collaborating with client teams, building strong controls, and enabling strategic decision making across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of accounting, audit, or finance experience.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• CPA certification.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Fortune 1000 companies, large corporations, and PE-backed businesses on high-impact financial and accounting initiatives (Day to Day).
• Gains exposure to multiple industries, business models, and strategic projects while helping clients navigate important financial decisions.
• Handle complex accounting matters, financial reporting, GAAP/FASB, and reporting process improvements.
• Evaluate and improve accounting and finance processes, controls, systems, and workflows.
• Support acquisitions, transaction analysis, financial diligence, and integration planning.
• Prepare companies for public markets, including reporting, controls, processes, and finance infrastructure.
• Support businesses through divestitures, separations, and standalone finance operations.
• Partner with high-growth companies and private equity sponsors through periods of growth and transformation.

Key Areas of Work

• Complex accounting matters, financial reporting, GAAP/FASB, and reporting process improvements
• Evaluating and improving accounting and finance processes, controls, systems, and workflows
• Financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, modeling, and management reporting
• Supporting acquisitions, transaction analysis, financial diligence, and integration planning
• Preparing companies for public markets, including reporting, controls, processes, and finance infrastructure
• Supporting businesses through complex divestitures, separations, and standalone finance operations
• Partnering with high-growth companies and private equity sponsors through periods of significant growth and transformation
