Job summary

Volunteer State Community College invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor- Accounting (Pool). The position delivers quality instruction using integrative technologies and supports a range of delivery modalities.

Responsibilities include teaching on ground, online, hybrid or web-enhanced courses; developing and submitting syllabi; maintaining timely communication, grading by deadlines, and complying with college policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting or comparable with 18 graduate hours.
• Collegiate level teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with multiple instructional delivery modes.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses via on ground, online, hybrid or web-enhanced modalities.
• Submit class syllabus or update department syllabus at required times.
• Maintain VSCC email and department mailbox; respond within 48 hours.
• Submit final grades by Registrar deadlines each semester.
• Complete all required trainings, reports, and surveys by deadlines.
• Advise Department Chair at earliest possibility; attend requested meetings.
• Comply with College and TBR policies and guidelines.
