Job summary

Ferrovial, a global infrastructure leader, seeks an Accountant to support monthly, quarterly, and annual close, ensuring accuracy of financial records and adherence to US GAAP. Located in Austin, TX, this role collaborates with Accounting & Reporting Manager to strengthen reporting and internal controls.

You will handle depreciation, fixed assets, intercompany reconciliations, lease accounting under ASC 842, and assist audits and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge; IFRS a plus.
• Excellent analytical and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare journal entries and depreciation schedules.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support intercompany accounting and ASC 842 lease accounting.
• Assist with external audits and regulatory reporting.
• Drive process automation improvements in accounting.
