Job summary

Schultheis & Panettieri, LLP in Hauppauge, NY seeks an Accountant with tax and audit experience to prepare returns for corporations, partnerships and individuals. The role includes audit tasks and reporting on engagements as needed. Travel is required and the firm offers a strong benefits package and a collaborative work environment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in public accounting, CPA preferred but not required, and familiarity with Pro-Systems or CaseWare and MS Office Suite.

We are a growing midsize CPA firm specializing in the audits of labor unions and their related fringe benefit funds. We have three locations. Our home office is in Hauppauge and we have offices in Iselin, NJ and Floral Park, NY. We are currently looking for an experienced accountant with a background in both tax and audit to help prepare tax returns for corporations, partnerships and individuals. This position will also perform audit functions,and will report to engagements on an as needed basis. Travel is required.

Experience Required

• 1 + years of public accounting experience in both tax and audit
• CPA preferred but not required
• Pro-Systems and/or Caseware a plus!
