TPIS in Guaynabo, PR is seeking a qualified Accountant to join our team and support the monthly financial close and reporting process.

The role covers accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and general ledger entries to prepare monthly financial statements, with emphasis on accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and internal controls. Fully bilingual Spanish/English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with major in Accounting.
• Two years of experience as Accountant.
• CMA or CPA, preferred.
• Fully bilingual: Spanish and English.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares month-end general ledger close journal entries and reconciliations.
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
• Reconciles discrepancies by analyzing account data.
• Prepares invoices and billing; resolves collections.
• Records cash receipts and prepares reports.
• Ensures payments and government reports are disbursed on time.
• Maintains internal controls and compliance with regulations.
• Supports payroll processing and related reporting.
