Versova seeks an Accountant II to join the Iowa accounting team. The role delivers accurate financial data, maintains policies, and supports controls across company operations.

The position requires learning, accountability, and strong analytical skills, with duties spanning reconciliation, month-end close, reporting, and continuous improvement. Office-based with potential site visits to production facilities in the region.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of accounting experience with escalating responsibilities.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with team on reconciling related party accounts receivable and payable ledgers.
• Support month-end close processes and prepare/review account reconciliations.
• Process month-end accruals and fixed asset accounting.
• Prepare monthly reports for the co-op and members.
• Review inventories and month end journal entries.
• Resolve subledger discrepancies and document adjustments.
• Maintain prepaid insurance documentation and intercompany billings.
• Collaborate with feed team on calculation and payment of feed tonnage tax.
• Contribute to annual audit deliverables.
• Provide ad hoc reporting for internal stakeholders.
• Initiate continuous improvement initiatives.
