Job summary

SchoolsFirst FCU is seeking an Accountant II for TPA Services to provide key accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting support. The role collaborates with Accounting and other departments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient processes across the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience required.
• 3-5 years of prior relevant experience required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual and monthly GAAP financial statements and reports.
• Support external auditors and regulatory reporting.
• Lead departmental projects and liaise with internal/external teams.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and related schedules.
• Prepare tax returns and other routine external financial reporting.
