Job summary

The Friedkin Group seeks an Accountant II, Family Office to support full-cycle accounting for family entities and intercompany activity. You will process AP, journals, reporting, and monthly closes, while advancing automation and AI-enabled workflows with tools like Dynamics 365, Dooap, and Power BI.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of accounting experience, a BA in accounting, and a zeal for learning new technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from a four-year college or university.
• 2-4 years of progressively responsible experience in an accounting environment.
• Family Office accounting experience preferred.
• Experience improving or automating accounting processes using Excel, workflow automation, or AI preferred.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and adhere to GAAP, IFRS, policies, and industry practices.
• Ensure confidentiality of information at all times.
• Record financial data accurately and timely per company standards.
• Provide high level customer service to internal and external customers.
• Assist with monthly close and journal entries for family entities and intercompany activities.
• Develop proficiency in Dynamics 365, Dooap, Concur, Spreadsheet Server, and Power BI; learn new tools to streamline reporting and close.
• Collaborate with the team to propose process improvements and automation ideas.
• Prepare intercompany entries and manage intercompany billing as needed.
• Maintain well-documented work papers and source documentation.
