Job summary

Paycom is seeking an Accountant I/II for our Corporate Office in Yuba City, CA. The role focuses on producing accurate monthly financial reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting budgeting and payroll processes under supervision.

Two levels exist: Accountant I (Associate degree or 2+ years) and Accountant II (Bachelor's degree). The position is full-time and on-site at the Corporate Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or 2+ years’ experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting for Accountant II.
• State regulations require health clearance and background checks before starting work.
• Valid driver’s license; insurance and insurability through Agency policy.

Responsibilities

• Produce timely monthly financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, government reports).
• Perform bank reconciliations and review accounting balances.
• Participate in budget development and load budget data; monitor expenses.
• Assist with Accounts Payable and payroll time entry data.
• Maintain filing systems and journal entries to support fiscal procedures.
