Qualifications

• Manage and reconcile multiple bank statements.
• Support month-end and intercompany close.
• Complete ad-hoc tasks such as process-improvement projects.
• Communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written form.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting systems and procedures.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team and assist in problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and self-review journal entries for accuracy and compliance with business regulations and applicable accounting concepts.
• Reconcile liabilities and other accounts as needed.
• Maintain and enhance accounting structures and methods.
• Provide ideas to improve systems, processes, and procedures affecting month-end close, account analysis, and financial reporting.
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close by preparing and maintaining assigned balance-sheet account reconciliations and adjusting entries.
• Participate in cross-functional teams and support other tasks as required.
• Work collaboratively within a dynamic, high-energy team in line with Starbucks core values.
