Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque seeks an Accountant to support the Finance Department. You will maintain account reconciliations, analyze general ledger activity, and prepare standard reports for external distribution.

This full-time exempt role at the Reverend Hugh Cooper Administrative Center requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance/Health Care or related field and 2–4 years in accounting. Experience with Workday, Oracle, Sage ERP, and Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Health Care or related field.
• 2-4 years experience in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Requires detailed knowledge of Accounting in terms of what and how work is to be done as well as why it is done.

Responsibilities

• Reconciles assigned general ledger accounts.
• Prepares routine bookkeeping entries for monthly general ledgers.
• Prepares standard reports routinely distributed externally.
• Reviews and analyzes banking transactions as assigned.
• Assists with the training and cross training of new accountants and reviews work of accountants as required
