Job summary

ANOTHER KNOCK AT MIDNIGHT INC is looking for a knowledgeable Contractual Accountant to join our Chicago team. This role focuses on documenting financial transactions, preparing statements, and managing payroll. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a solid grasp of accounting best practices.

Responsibilities include entering financial data, reconciling bank statements, processing accounts, and creating accounting policies. Candidates must be CPAs with experience in not-for-profits.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
• Experience working for a not-for-profit organization as an accountant is required.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Knowledge of the GATA process.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
