Ideal candidates bring direct VA school-division finance/accounting experience, demonstrated ASR and RLM work, and familiarity with VDOE reporting. In-person work at the Petersburg, VA area is expected.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ASR-RLM Specialist to join our innovative team. In this role, you will provide PCPS-specific subject-matter expertise for Virginia school-division financial reporting, particularly Annual School Report (ASR), Required Local Match (RLM), VDOE requirements and associated year-end activities.

Key responsibilities: Support preparation/review of ASR; support RLM documentation and reporting; interpret applicable VDOE financial-reporting requirements; establish submission prerequisites/calendar; coordinate underlying accounting/reconciliations; QA financial data supporting state reporting; advise team on Virginia school-finance requirements.

Direct Virginia school-division finance/accounting experience strongly preferred; demonstrable ASR and RLM experience; familiarity with VDOE reporting; likely backgrounds include school division CFO/finance director, accounting director, controller, senior school accountant, or Virginia K-12 financial consultant.

Pay: $27.06 - $32.59 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
