Job summary

Primerica in Duluth, GA, is seeking an entry-level Accountant I to support day-to-day accounting operations. This hybrid role involves on-site work three days per week and collaboration with senior staff to ensure accurate financial records and timely month-end close.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, with 0–2 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and a basic understanding of GAAP. ERP exposure (WorkDay, OfficeConnect, Blackline) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships acceptable).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting systems is a plus.
• Progress toward CPA or other accounting certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and data entry.
• Prepare and maintain schedules for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed.
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
• Support internal and external audit requests; ensure GAAP compliance.

Education
