Beacon Hill is seeking an Accountant to join its finance team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The role offers broad exposure across the accounting function, including AP, AR, billing, journal entries, reconciliations and month-end close.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience and will contribute to a planned system conversion from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics, gaining valuable experience in process improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Process billing and client invoicing.
• Prepare and post journal entries; perform reconciliations.
• Support month-end close activities and financial reporting.

Our client, a growing PR & Communications firm seeking an Accountant to join its collaborative finance team. This position offers broad exposure across the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. The organization recently completed an acquisition and is currently utilizing QuickBooks, with plans to transition the business to Microsoft Dynamics, providing an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a system conversion and process improvement environment.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 3+ years of accounting experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and wants to learn from a strong leadership team. The role offers a hybrid schedule, requiring just one day per week in either the Midtown Manhattan or Rutherford, NJ office.
