Sensient Technologies in Milwaukee is seeking an Accountant to join our global team. You will contribute to accurate financial reporting, process excellence, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment.

The role involves supporting month-end close, intercompany and payroll workflows, and assisting with audits and quarterly reviews. Onsite work five days per week with a comprehensive benefits package and development opportunities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with JD Edwards or similar general ledger system.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Support month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation, management reporting and account reconciliations.
• Process intercompany and payroll transactions.
• Collaborate with internal departments and global affiliates to answer accounting queries and maintain accurate records.
• Support quarterly financial statement reviews and year-end audit processes, including preparing documentation and footnotes.

What you'll do

• Support month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation, management reporting, and account reconciliations
• Process intercompany and payroll transactions
• Collaborate with internal departments and global affiliates to answer accounting queries, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records
• Support the financial statement quarterly review and year-end audit process, including preparing supporting documentation, responding to inquiries, and preparing financial statements/footnotes
• Assist in special projects, as needed

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or equivalent education
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in JD Edwards or equivalent general ledger system
