Job summary

KYOCERA-AVX Greenville LLC is seeking an accounting professional to support a range of general accounting duties, consolidation, financial reporting, and analysis. You will collaborate with teams to ensure accurate monthly closing and reporting.

Key responsibilities include inter-company billings and reconciliations, monthly/quarterly package preparation, bank reconciliations, and government filings. Strong Excel and organizational skills are essential, with preferred experience in manufacturing

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 1–3 years of general accounting experience preferred.
• Excel proficiency required; familiarity with GL systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform inter-company billings and reconciliations monthly.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial packages and month-end closing journal entries.
• Provide schedules/reconciliations for auditors.
• Reconcile bank statements and record daily banking activity.
• Prepare and file various government reports.

Primary Function:

Responsible for a range of general accounting duties, consolidation, financial reporting, and financial analysis/projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for inter-company billings and reconciliations, analysis and/or reconciliation of general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
• Assist with the preparation of the monthly and quarterly financial packages, assist with preparation of month-end closing journal entries.
• Provide schedules/reconciliations for public and internal auditors.
• Responsible for bank reconciliations and recording daily banking activity.
• Responsible for preparing and filing of various government reports.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business required1-3 years of general accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with Cost Accounting and/or Analysis strongly preferred.
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills, experience with General Ledger systems helpful.
• Must be proficient in Excel, use of PC and PC Software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle and/or SAP experience a plus.
• Past experience in Accounting in a Manufacturing setting (any industry).
