Job summary

PCL Digital Infrastructure, Inc. is seeking an Accountant to support a national data center unit in Denver, Colorado. You will handle clerical tasks, AP/AR, and assist with financial reporting and client billings.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to handle clerical and data-entry tasks.
• Understanding of accounting fundamentals and cash flows.
• Experience with project costing and contract-related accounting concepts.
• Familiarity with MS Office; accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical and data entry support to meet contractual requirements for operational and basic accounting.
• Processes all accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provides project teams with ad hoc reports and analysis as needed.
• Assists with the assembly of information for internal and external financial reporting requirements.
• Assembles client billings packages in accordance with contract terms and ensures timely payment.
• Prepares bank deposits and cash receipt entries.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical and data entry support to meet contractual requirements for operational and basic accounting.
• Processes all accounts payable and accounts received in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provides project teams with ad hoc reports and analysis as the need arises.
• Assists with the assembly of information for internal and external financial reporting requirements.
• Assembles client billings packages in accordance with contract terms and conditions and ensures timely payment.
• Prepares bank deposits and cash receipt entries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field is considered an asset.
• Some student experience or 6 months to 1 year of accounting or administrative experience is preferred.
• Exposure to project forecasting and budgeting.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, including maintenance of ledgers and cash flows.
• Exposure to project costing principles, recoveries, insurance, and contract/subcontract requirements as related to accounting
• Exposure to subcontract purchase order terms, including insurance and subcontractor default insurance requirements.
• Basic understanding of lien rights.
• Ability to act with the required discretion when handling confidential information.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with accounting software is an asset.

The estimated salary range for this role is $53,000 - $69,000, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
