Job summary

The Intersect Group in Chandler, AZ is seeking an Accountant to support daily accounting operations and financial reporting. You will report to the Corporate Controller and handle AP/AR, payroll, GL, reconciliations, and month-end close while ensuring SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-9 years of accounting experience including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Process bi-weekly payroll through ADP Workforce Now and support payroll compliance.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Assist with financial reporting, audits, cash forecasting, and compliance reporting.
• Monitor collections, process employee expenses, and maintain vendor/customer records.
• Support SOX controls, internal audits, and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, and operational teams on accounting projects and reporting needs.
