The Account Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily janitorial operations at assigned customer locations to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. This role provides leadership to frontline janitorial staff, maintains strong client relationships, ensures compliance with company standards, and supports operational excellence through effective staffing, training, and quality assurance.
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
– You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of janitorial team members.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met.
Train, coach, and develop janitorial staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
Manage employee schedules, attendance, and staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage.
Address and resolve employee performance issues in accordance with company policies.
Maintain positive working relationships with clients and respond promptly to service requests or concerns.
Monitor inventory levels and order cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials as needed.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety standards, and company operating procedures.
Complete administrative duties including timekeeping, payroll approval, employee documentation, and operational reports.
Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and customer complaints.
Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retention efforts for janitorial personnel.
Support account budgets and labor management initiatives to meet operational goals.
Conduct routine facility walkthroughs and implement corrective actions when necessary.
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in janitorial, facilities management, housekeeping, or related services.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Experience managing employee schedules and labor productivity.
Knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment, chemicals, and industry best practices.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
