Job summary

  • Expertise in development and implementation of digital tactics including social media.

About the Role

The Account Supervisor at Ogilvy Health is a pivotal day-to-day leader and primary client partner, demonstratingmastery over the tactical development and flawless implementation of healthcare marketing campaigns. This role ensures executional excellence and the successful delivery of creative output that consistently supports brand and customer objectives. While primarily focused on operational success, this position offers the opportunity to move beyond daily project management tasks and into strategic brand management, contributing significantly to overarching brand direction. The Account Supervisor is instrumental in achieving client goals through robust internal and external partnerships, and will have future opportunities to develop and mentor junior account team members.

What You’ll Do

Executional Leadership & Project Mastery:

  • Serve as the primary client contact for all executional details, demonstrating strong ownership of the brand's operational success and accountability for tactical output.
  • Own planning for and implementation of client tactics, ensuring flawless execution from brief to launch.
  • Develop tactical briefs ensuring meticulous accuracy and alignment with client objectives and agency capabilities.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to existing executions and workflows, leveraging innovation like AI to enhance efficiency.
  • Guide creative teams to develop high-quality, strategically sound, and error-free output.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust client relationships across multiple brands/clients, serving as the primary liaison for day-to-day account activities and tactical needs.
  • Translate client needs and market insights into actionable tactics, ensuring clear communication between agency and client.
  • Ensure continuous, timely communication with clients regarding job status, project progress and any operational updates.
  • Champion the creative product with creative partners and clients, advocating for the work and its alignment with brand objectives.

Strategic Contribution & Operational Excellence:

  • Contribute to broader brand strategy discussions, bringing valuable insights from your executional expertise, day to day client interactions and market observations.
  • Demonstrate strong judgment in decision-making, knowing when to act independently and when to elevate.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, contributing to process improvements and supporting overall team success.
  • Partner with internal Project Management and Business Management to ensure fiscal responsibility and oversight of client budget (estimates, scopes, invoicing) and internal forecasting.

What You’ll Need

Experience & Expertise:

  • 5 years of progressive account services experience within a healthcare communications/advertising agency.
  • Previous experience managing pharma/healthcare HCP & Consumer/Patient promotional marketing and advertising campaigns and tactics.
  • Expertise in the development and implementation of digital tactics including social media.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Exceptional client communication and independent relationship management skills, with the maturity to handle senior-level client contact.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions independently and manage multiple projects across multiple clients effectively.
  • Superior attention to detail and proactive problem-solving capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills for converting insights into actionable plans.
  • Knowledge of all agency functional areas; including strategic planning, creative, project management, production, and medical direction/strategy, analytics/performance data
  • Collaborative, positive, enthusiastic, and responsive.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. $60,000 - $140,000 USD
