Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; two or four-year degree preferred.
• Experience in the insurance industry preferred.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Process endorsements, audits, renewals; issue certificates.
• Set up client portals, proposals, binding summaries, and data entry.
• Answer phones professionally and deliver high-quality client service.
• Update client systems and send proof of insurance.
• Follow up on incomplete applications and changes for timely completion.
• Manage special projects and meet deadlines with confidentiality.
• Pursue ongoing training and professional designations.
• Build strong internal and external client relationships.
• Attend client/market meetings and planning sessions.

Colorado Hiring Range: This position is a non-exempt role with a compensation of $22.00 - $24.00 per hour with a potential bonus of 6%. The pay will vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage administrative and data-driven tasks to support the Large Commercial team, including processing endorsements, audits, and renewals, issuing certificates and Auto ID cards, and invoicing premiums and dividends.
• Assist with setting up client portals, preparing proposals, handling binding summaries, and completing various data entry projects.
• Answer phones professionally, maintain a positive attitude, and provide high-quality client service, even in challenging interactions.
• Update client management systems, process applications and changes, send proof of insurance to relevant parties.
• Follow up on incomplete applications and change forms to ensure timely completion.
• Manage special projects and meet deadlines while maintaining confidentiality of client and company information.
• Continuously expand industry knowledge through training, continuing education, and professional designations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, both internal and external.
• Attend client and market meetings, planning workshops, and stewardship meetings as needed.
• Organize time effectively to meet project, renewal, and service deadlines while demonstrating initiative in assuming new responsibilities.

Credentials:

• High School diploma or GED required, two or four-year degree preferred
• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred
• One year of customer service experience is preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic PowerPoint functions
• Ability to obtain license within 30 days of employment
