Job summary

Gallagher is seeking an Account Representative in Personal Lines to deliver responsive, high-quality support in Cincinnati. You’ll identify client needs, guide decisions, and build strong relationships while using digital tools to streamline service.

The role operates Monday–Friday, 9 am–6 pm EST, within a Cincinnati zone. You’ll work to explain coverage clearly, assist with policy changes and renewals, and contribute to retention through consultative client interactions.

As an Account Representative in Personal Lines, you’ll deliver responsive, high-quality support while developing the skills to become a trusted partner to clients. You’ll go beyond handling requests, learning to identify needs, guide decisions, and contribute to stronger client relationships. In a digitally evolving environment, you’ll gain hands-on experience with tools that streamline service and elevate performance, setting you up for rapid growth. This role supports our Cincinnati zone and the hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am until 6 pm EST.

How you'll make an impact

• Act as a trusted contact within a pooled model, delivering responsive, accurate support across Personal Lines needs.
• Manage inbound and outbound interactions across channels, ensuring clear, efficient, relationship-focused experiences.
• Handle billing inquiries, guiding payments and resolutions while coordinating for timely outcomes.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals with accuracy and compliance.
• Explain coverage, exclusions, and options in a clear, client-friendly way.
• Support claims by guiding next steps and setting clear expectations.
• Take a proactive, consultative approach, identifying needs and strengthening coverage solutions.
• Resolve standard requests independently, escalating complex cases as needed.
• Use digital tools to deliver faster, more streamlined service.
• Build trust through consistent, high-quality interactions that drive retention.

About You

Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:

• Bring 1–2 years of customer service, insurance, or related experience, or the drive to gain it quickly.
• Hold a P&C license
• Communicate clearly, explaining coverage and next steps in a client-friendly way.
• Stay organized and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy across tasks and priorities.
• Demonstrate a client-first mindset, building trust through responsiveness and professionalism.
• Solve problems proactively, handling inquiries with care and timely resolution.
• Adapt quickly to new systems and digital tools.
• Show coachability and flexibility while growing into greater responsibility.
