Job summary

Jani-King International, Inc. seeks an Account Relationship Specialist to support Customer accounts across Long Island and the greater New York metropolitan area.

This role serves as the primary contact between Customers, Unit Franchisees, and the regional office, building strong relationships and protecting Customer retention across an assigned portfolio. You will monitor accounts for dissatisfaction, coordinate new account launches, and perform site inspections to ensure service quality and

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, resolving service issues and partnering with Customers on evolving facility needs and service adjustments.
• Monitor accounts for early signs of dissatisfaction and determine the best approach to resolve at-risk relationships, including possible franchisee reassignment.
• Coordinate new account launches, evaluate best Franchisee matches for accounts, and monitor new accounts during the first 90 days.
• Perform routine site inspections, determine corrective actions, and reinforce OSHA safety guidelines.

• 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 & 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, exercising independent judgment to resolve service issues, and partner with Customers on evolving facility needs and service adjustments.
• 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Monitor accounts for early warning signs of dissatisfaction, and determine the right approach to resolve at-risk relationships, including recommending service changes or Unit Franchisee reassignment.
• 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐬 & 𝐎𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠: Coordinate new account launches, evaluate which Unit Franchisee is best matched to each account, and monitor new accounts closely during the first 90 days.
• 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 & 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲: Perform routine site inspections, determine what corrective action is warranted, and reinforce OSHA guidelines and safe work practices (training provided).
