BASF’s Agricultural Solutions division is hiring an Account Manager for the Treasure Valley. You will grow market position, build long-term partnerships, and support profitability for BASF Vegetable Seeds in Western Idaho and Eastern Oregon.

The role requires 2–5 years of sales experience in vegetable seeds, strong agronomic knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 25–30% overnight. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of sales experience within the vegetable seed or agricultural industry.
  • Solid, well-rounded knowledge of the vegetable seed business; onion crop experience preferred.
  • Strong agronomic skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to influence across diverse backgrounds and functions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25–30% overnight.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, reviewing, adapting, and executing the annual sales plan for the market.
  • Representing BASF and introducing relevant products to customers to build long-term partnerships and generate short-term sales.
  • Participating directly in international and cross-border projects with customers.
  • Providing market, pricing, and product information to support development of the marketing and sales plan within the crop team.
  • Managing collections in accordance with financial policy and payment terms to ensure cash flow.
  • Contributing to the trial program and proposing assortment recommendations tailored to local needs or specific customers.

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Agricultural Solutions team for our BASF | Nunhems Vegetable Seeds Business in the Treasure Valley of Western Idaho and Eastern Oregon.

This is a field-based role, and the selected candidate will need to reside in the Treasure Valley. Relocation assistance is available, if necessary.
