Job summary

HUB International in the Mountain States region (Idaho, Montana, Wyoming) seeks an Account Manager & Service professional. You will manage a book of transportation accounts, market to carriers, prepare quotes and proposals, and respond to policy inquiries while maintaining renewal controls and accurate files.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years previous insurance industry experience preferred or professional business experience
• Active Property & Casualty license; or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
• Excellent customer service and proactive relationship management.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems
• Ability to take direction and follow instructions effectively, while demonstrating initiative and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a positive team environment and collaborative culture
• Broad knowledge of insurance products and usages and ability to work independently

About The Opportunity

This position can be located at any office in the HUB Mountain States region (Idaho, Montana, Wyoming).

Our Account Managers play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the service they need to properly manage their insurance policies. You are the facilitator of positive and effective relationships with our valued clients and insurance carrier staff. As the point‑of‑contact, you will assist the team by managing a book of transportation accounts, including marketing to carriers, preparing quotes and proposals, quickly responding to policy inquiries (email, phone), maintaining renewal controls on expirations and binders, checking policies/endorsements/audits for accuracy, and maintaining accurate and organized account files.

What You Bring To The Table

• 1-2 years previous insurance industry experience preferred or professional business experience
• Active Property & Casualty license; or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
