Job summary

Ourvita is seeking an Account Manager to serve as the primary liaison for assigned accounts, driving growth and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will upsell and cross-sell Ourvita products and capabilities, coordinating with internal teams to meet business objectives.

The role emphasizes managing pricing, renewals, and account plans, using data to identify opportunities, and leading cross-functional collaboration across departments to deliver value to customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or similar field required.
  • Three years or more in supervisor or managerial experience.
  • Four to eight years of account management experience.
  • Familiarity with Nutraceutical, Food/Beverage industry or packaging preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as lead contact for assigned accounts, managing relationships and regular communications.
  • Build and strengthen customer relationships to achieve long‑term partnerships.
  • Responsible for existing customers’ Monthly KPIs and Quarterly Business Reviews.

The Account Manager will serve as the liaison to grow our business. It is the Account Manager’s responsibility to address customers’ needs and concerns as quickly and effectively as possible to develop and maintain strong relationships. As the main point of contact for existing customers, you will provide strong customer service and be responsible for upselling and cross selling our products and capabilities.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Act as lead contact for assigned accounts, managing relationships including regular communication to understand current and future business, and discuss needs.
  • Build and strengthen customer relationships to achieve long‑term partnerships.
  • Responsible for existing customers’ Monthly KPI’s and Quarterly Business Reviews to customers and internal business leaders.
  • Work with other Ourvita businesses to cross‑sell to common current customers.
  • Schedule regular innovation sessions to present trends and prototypes.
  • Proactively solicit, present, and see through cost savings initiatives.
  • Responsible for pricing activities with assigned customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals, including pricing.
  • Work closely with internal functions to deliver business objectives that drive value to our customers.
  • Utilize data to gain insights, competitive advantages, and identify white space to create account plans.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross‑sell to customers.
  • Create strategies to develop business opportunities at existing accounts.
  • Meet regularly with other team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business.
  • Using Project Management tools to onboard customers, sponsor projects and serve as key contact.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.

Safety Protocol:
  • Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
  • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
  • Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or similar field preferred.
  • Three years or more in supervisor or managerial experience.
  • Four to eight years of account management experience required.
  • Familiarity or prior experience in the Nutraceutical, Food/Beverage industry, or packaging experience highly preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Skills Required:
  • Ability to multi‑task and adapt to a changing and fast paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to inspire collaboration and teamwork.
  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
  • Project Management skills in onboarding process for customer projects.
  • Willingness to adhere to all principles of confidentiality.
  • Must value operating in a collaborative work environment.
  • Capable of interaction at all levels of the organization.
  • Computer familiarity is a requirement, particularly with Microsoft Office Programs, CRM Systems and ERP Systems.
