Job summary

SBS Comms, a US-based communications agency for visionaries, is seeking an Account Manager to drive media results, advise clients, and oversee content production.

You will craft pitches, develop media lists, manage weekly deliverables, and support speaking engagements while working in a flexible, remote environment with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in PR agency or comparable setting.
• Proven ability to drive meaningful media results.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic.
• Must be based in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Drive media results through outreach and story ideation.

• Manage reporting of results via trackers and coverage reports.
• Support client speaking engagements and awards campaigns.
• Prepare materials to prep spokespeople for press opportunities.

Account Manager Responsibilities

• Drive media results through outreach and creative story ideation


• Provide strong client counsel and recommendations


• Produce written content


• Manage reporting of results (via trackers and coverage reports)


• Support ongoing client speaking engagements, awards, etc.


• Prepare materials to prep spokespeople for press opportunities


• Oversee and ensure execution of weekly and monthly client deliverables


• Support execution of client announcements and news


• Research and develop media lists

Account Manager Skills & Qualifications

• At least 3 years of PR agency experience


• Bachelor's degree in PR, Communications, Journalism or similar


• Demonstrated ability to drive meaningful media results
  
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects


• A creative mindset and attention to detail


• Brilliant writing skills and ability to guide development of content


• Self-starter with strong work ethic


• Must be based in the United States

Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, and education or certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications. Salary ranges for this position are between $80,000 and $90,000 annually. SBS also offers additional compensation programs such as annual cash bonuses and generous benefits.

Compensation Range: $80K - $90K
