Job summary

Jobtailor in Idaho seeks an experienced Insurance Account Manager to handle a book of business up to $125,000. You will process service requests, endorsements, and cancellations, and initiate sales calls for new business or account rounding.

You will review applications for compliance with underwriting guidelines and maintain positive carrier relationships while supporting sales goals and office operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold Property/Casualty License in resident state.
• CISR designation is preferred/required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage client accounts, including processing service requests, endorsements, cancellations, and other functions, handling a book of business up to $125,000, as available
• Initiate or respond to sales calls for new business or account rounding
• Review insurance applications and policies to ensure initial compliance and underwriting authority and guidelines
• Screen and process insurance applications
• Prepare and compile a variety of insurance-related documents within established procedures
• Market existing and new accounts
• Maintain all records
• Maintain positive carrier relationships
• Assist in meeting office sales goals
• Any other duties as appropriate and assigned by management

Requirements

• 2-4 years’ insurance experience
• High school diploma or equivalency; some college preferred
• MUST hold current Property/Casualty License in resident state
