Job description

The Account Manager role is responsible for building, maintaining, & growing relationships with clients by managing their advertising campaigns across multiple publishers/platforms (ex. search, display, social ads, O&O digital/print media, etc.). The primary focus is ensuring our clients achieve & exceed their marketing goals through strategic campaign planning and data analysis.

As the Account Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for client concerns and needs post-sales. Must possess strong expertise in existing & emerging marketing solutions, collaborate with sales partners and post-sales optimizers to identify opportunities, and deliver solutions that maximize ROI. The role requires a change-minded individual capable of navigating the evolving landscape of digital and traditional marketing, integrating with various teams, and adapting to new challenges to ensure strategies remain agile and responsive.

Position Requirements:

  • Partner closely with sales teams to own client relationships by building rapport, demonstrating transparency, and delivering results against joint objectives.
  • Understand, manage, and anticipate client expectations, gain alignment, and engage partner teams to meet client goals while maintaining strong communication.
  • Maintain open communication channels to share value stories and service successes via performance reviews (weekly, monthly, etc.).
  • Articulate media programs to develop appropriate strategies and campaign plans.
  • Collaborate with sales and post-sales teams to formulate and execute digital strategies that meet client objectives.
  • Advise clients on leveraging ongoing and upcoming marketing strategies.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across paid search, organic presence, display, social media, and O&O channels.
  • Proficient in customer relationship management, online search, display advertising, and LocaliQ technologies.
  • Review campaign performance regularly, assess trends, facilitate performance discussions, and proactively identify new advertising techniques.
  • Communicate and collaborate with support resources, including digital solutions and ad operations teams, to exceed client objectives.

  • Ability to understand and communicate about digital advertising campaigns effectively.

  • Understanding of how retail/service media, sales, and operations work together.
  • Proven relationship-building and account management skills.
  • Efficiency and process streamlining skills.
  • Moderate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, marketing, advertising, public relations, journalism, or English.
  • At least 2 years managing online/digital advertising campaigns and 3+ years in client-facing service or account management.
  • Google Ads & Google Analytics certification.

The annualized base salary ranges from $55,000 to $81,000. Variable compensation may apply based on role, skills, experience, location, and union status.
