Role Overview

The Account Manager is responsible for understanding clients' business objectives and challenges, leveraging iXsystems' product portfolio to provide tailored solutions. The goal is to be a trusted advisor, driving success for both the client and iXsystems.

This is a fully remote position in EST or CST time zones.

Compensation

Base pay range: This role offers an On-Target Earnings (OTE) potential of $90,000 - $110,000 annually. Final offers depend on factors like location, education, and experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Drive growth across iXsystems' storage solutions.
  • Communicate the company's vision, value proposition, and go-to-market strategies effectively.
  • Manage complex sales processes from lead generation to closing and support.
  • Build long-term customer relationships by providing excellent service and becoming a trusted advisor.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 3+ years in B2B sales, preferably in storage or datacenter technologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce and open-source technologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of TrueNAS is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Proven success in handling complex sales cycles and exceeding quotas.
  • Ability to prospect and generate pipeline independently.
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, and willing to travel up to 25%.
