Insurance Office of America is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Manager to support client service, policy administration, and renewal processes. This role offers progression from AA to AMA levels, with emphasis on accurate submissions, data integrity, and proactive service across a growing book of commercial accounts.

Hybrid work is available; applicants should possess a P&C license and 2–5 years of relevant experience to advance within the Account Management career path.

About The Role

We are seeking insurance professionals with 2 to 5 years of commercial insurance experience and an active P&C license for current opportunities within our Account Management career path. Multiple experience levels are considered, including Account Associate, Senior Account Associate, and Account Manager Associate.

Client Service & Support

• Deliver proactive, responsive service to clients and internal teams

Policy Administration

• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements

Level Differentiation

Account Associate (AA) (Non-Exempt) – Foundational

• Executes transactional and administrative tasks
• Supports workflows under close supervision
• Assists with submissions and policy processing
• Focused on accuracy, timeliness, and task completion

Senior Account Associate (SAA) (Non-Exempt) – Intermediate

• Independently manages small or low‑complexity accounts
• Tracks renewals and ensures timely processing
• Performs underwriting preparation and loss run analysis
• Evaluates and negotiates coverage/pricing
• Prepares proposals and binds coverage
• Provides guidance to junior staff

Account Manager Associate (AMA) (Exempt) – Advanced

• Operates with minimal supervision and increased autonomy
• Manages full customer service lifecycle (billing, claims, coverage)
• Leads renewal strategy, negotiation, and execution
• Performs in‑depth coverage analysis and advisory support
• Handles more complex accounts and escalations
• Demonstrates advanced technical expertise and leadership

Differences Summary

• Account Associate: Task‑driven, execution‑focused, entry‑level support
• Senior Account Associate: Independent contributor, analytical, manages smaller accounts
• Account Manager Associate: Advanced expertise, owns client experience, near Account Manager level

Salary Range

The expected pay range for this position is 45-75K annually, depending on role, experience, relevant skills, and geographic location.
