Qualifications

  • 3+ years in captive or commercial Property/Casualty insurance.
  • Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Active P&C license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • Designations such as CPCU, AU, ARM, ACI are preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with CRM software and MS Office; Salesforce a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; detail oriented.
  • Able to multitask and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee new business and renewal process, including applications, loss summaries, pricing indications, quotes, and proposals.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to client and broker inquiries.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team to drive new business and retain renewal revenue.
  • Coordinate with brokers and clients on policy coverage, changes, and exclusions.
  • Review Loss Runs from carriers to summarize claims portfolio.
  • Review policies and related documentation for accuracy and quality.
  • Assist clients with coverage changes, binders, endorsements; cross-sell services.
  • Develop and implement client retention initiatives with leadership.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant client records and transactions.

This key contributor will serve as a critical link between clients, brokers, and the company, providing exceptional service and support, while reporting to one of our Senior Account Executives. The position requires a proactive approach to client and broker management, handling both new business and renewal policies and servicing needs, and maintaining comprehensive documentation while adhering to important deadlines and regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, thrive in a dynamic, client-focused, fast-paced environment, and excel in providing personalized service. Job Responsibilities
  • New Business and Renewal Process Management: Oversee all aspects of the new business and renewal process, including applications, developing loss summaries, pricing indications, quotes, and proposals
  • Client and Broker Inquiries: Respond promptly and courteously to all client and broker/producer inquiries.
  • Sales Collaboration: Collaborate with the Sales Team to drive new business and retain renewal revenue.
  • Policy Coordination: Coordinate with brokers and clients on policy coverage, changes, and exclusions.
  • Loss Analysis: Review and analyze Loss Runs from various carriers to succinctly summarize the claims portfolio of an insured.
  • Policy Review: Review policies and all related documentation for accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
  • Client Assistance: Assist clients and brokers with coverage changes, binders, and endorsements, using each contact as an opportunity to review needs and cross‑sell appropriate services.
  • Client Retention Initiatives: Work with the teams lead by the Chief Revenue Officer to develop and implement ongoing client retention initiatives.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and compliant client records, including documentation, communications, and transactions.
  • Policy Renewal and Billing: Renew policies following agency standards, verify each renewal’s accuracy, and ensure all renewals are processed and billed correctly. Facilitate corrections as necessary and deliver proposals when needed.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry developments, new products, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
  • Salesforce Proficiency: Utilize the Salesforce platform for input, documentation, and performing technical tasks to expedite client service and maintain standards of compliance.
  • Client Communication: Provide clear answers to clients and/or Brokers for questions received.
  • Policy Drafting: Initiate the drafting of policies forms, declarations, notices and endorsements using both ISO and manuscript forms.
  • Documentation Preparation and Review: Prepare and review related documentation, including policies, reinsurance and service contracts, feasibility analysis charts, loss runs, annual meeting documents, financial statements, and billing inputs.
  • Service Provider Relationships: Maintain relationships with various service providers, including independent auditors, actuaries, attorneys, TPAs, carriers/reinsurers, reinsurance brokers, and fronting carriers.
  • Claims Coordination: Coordinate with the claims department to obtain loss data as needed.
  • Artificial Intelligence: Have working proficiency in the acceptable usage and application of various AI tools.
Qualifications And Traits
  • Industry Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in captive and/or commercial Property/Casualty insurance required.
  • Educational Background: Minimum of an Associate’s degree in a relevant field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • Licensing: Active P&C insurance license or the ability to obtain one within the initial 90 days of employment.
  • Insurance Designations: strongly preferred, including but not limited to CPCU, AU, ARM, ACI, etc.
  • Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM software, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Analytical and Problem‑Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Multitasking Ability: Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
Pay Range

$70,000 - $85,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
