Account Manager - Belgium (Wallonia, Brussels & Luxembourg)

Your new role

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for Wallonia, Brussels & Luxembourg. You will take full responsibility for growing the QuidelOrtho core lab businesses (Clinical Laboratory and POC), creating and executing area strategies, including an aggressive growth to new customers capture and core revenue evolution.

The role will require you to manage current customers, in addition to mapping, prospecting and converting new customers through an adaptable, resilient and customer excellence approach.

Your responsibilities
  • Accelerate growth of healthy business and maintain current customers’ needs; identify and follow up new business opportunities at account level.
  • Consultative selling to existing & prospective customers, including presenting QuidelOrtho products & services.
  • Identify and provide support in relation to tender offering and calculation of tender preparation.
  • Cooperate with Laboratory Specialists & Field Engineers.
  • Overseeing CRM (SFDC) management, forecasting and facilitating internal QuidelOrtho division tasks.
  • Collaborate, share information with others, promote best-practice and peer-to-peer knowledge transfer to accomplish individual, group and business objectives.
  • Own and be accountable for delivering business results in line with business plan for the area.
What you’ll need to succeed
  • Minimum of a degree in a relevant field, or equivalent demonstrable work experience with a focus on a scientific/healthcare related field (e.g. biology, diagnostics, health care, medical technologies).
  • Proven track record of account management, sales or product support. Ideally possessing experience of working within a similar organisational environment (preferably diagnostics).
  • Customer focused approach with a keen desire to achieve customer excellence in every activity and interaction.
  • Hunter mindset and results oriented, with a high level of resilience and adaptability to changing scenarios.
  • Able to demonstrate identifying and seizing business opportunities and effectiveness in persisting in the face of obstacles and challenges.
  • Strong previous experience in tender management.
  • Strong track record of success in core lab.
  • Convincing personality, especially when dealing & negotiating with demanding customers with strong communication skills.
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in French & a high level of English language skills are essential – it would be preferred but not essential if the individual has basic Dutch skills.
  • Flexibility to travel.
