Job description

FloQast has a mission to support accounting and finance departments with workflow automation by accountants, for accountants. Founded in 2013 in Los Angeles, FloQast now has offices in New York, London, and Australia!

The Account Manager will join a fast-growing team to help our technology company expand and renew our client base for our Accounting Workflow Automation solution. This role involves applying an understanding of FloQast’s products, sales methodology, processes, and prospecting techniques to our customer base. The Account Manager will work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure client renewals while maintaining high customer satisfaction. The main focus is collaborating across Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams to ensure client renewal and expansion.

This is a remote position, but candidates MUST be based in the Bay Area.

What You'll Do:
  1. Manage a book of business for existing mid-market clients to foster expansion within the FloQast customer base.
  2. Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and Sales Operations.
  3. Ensure on-time growth and customer expansion by managing client accounts in partnership with the CSM team.
  4. Maintain accurate forecasts in Salesforce.com.
  5. Provide reports on sales activities and projects to sales management as needed.
  6. Increase knowledge of key competitors to effectively communicate FloQast’s value proposition.
  7. Manage renewal opportunities and account information within Salesforce.com.
  8. Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  9. Build relationships, coordinate internal resources, and solve client issues.
  10. Travel within the assigned territory up to 30% to meet goals.
  11. Participate in other projects as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
  1. BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred.
  2. At least 2 years of successful software sales experience, preferably B2B.
  3. Knowledge of FloQast/Close Management Software is highly desired.
  4. Experience with consultative, solution-based sales methodologies preferred.
  5. Proven success in inside or outside sales roles.
  6. Excellent communication skills via phone and email.
  7. Resilience and ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, meeting or exceeding targets.
  8. Ability to develop trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.
  9. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools.
  10. Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.com and Outreach.
  11. Ability to develop and manage sales pipeline and forecasts.
