Job summary

Performance Team in Stockton, CA is seeking an experienced Operations Administrator to manage and coordinate activities for major account(s) within a 1st Shift, 100% onsite environment.

You will serve as the primary customer contact, coordinate with warehouse staff, and ensure accurate shipments while handling reporting, invoicing, and KPI preparation. Strong MS Office and logistics systems experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 1–2 years related experience.
  • Experience in supply chain, transportation, or distribution preferred.
  • Strong MS Office and system skills (YMS, TMS, WMS).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to build relationships with management, staff, and service providers.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key point of contact with the customer.
  • Communicate with customers by phone or in person and receive instructions for shipment, storage, delivery, or processing.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to oversee account activities and ensure shipment accuracy.
  • Resolve errors and complaints.
  • Project changes in activity and plan labor accordingly.
  • Submit reports on activity and labor expenses.
  • Data entry for inbound/outbound schedule development.
  • Coordinate billing and special requirements.
  • Manage documents to dock operations.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain workflow for dock operations.
  • Coordinate special projects and follow up on past due monies.
  • Prepare daily and monthly KPI reports.
  • Train new office associates.
  • Process shipments via customer portals.
  • Update proof of delivery and prepare files for billing.
  • Flag concerns to Management and propose improvements.

Schedule

1st Shift - Mon-Fri 7 am-3:30 pm - 100% onsite position

Summary

Manage and coordinate activities related to major account(s).

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Serve as the key point of contact with the customer.
  • Speaks with customers by phone or in person and receives instructions for shipment, storing, delivery, or general processing.
  • Coordinates with warehouse personnel to oversee incoming and outgoing account activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
  • Error and complaint resolution.
  • Projects changes in account activity and plans labor requirements accordingly.
  • Submits written and/or verbal reports on activity and projected labor expenses.
  • Data Entry to include inbound and outbound schedule development and creation.
  • Coordinate billing and special requirements as needed.
  • Coordinate the administration and paper flow of required documents to the dock operations.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain and assign workflow to dock operations.
  • Handle, coordinate, and follow up on all special projects.
  • Follow up on all past due monies related to the account.
  • Prepare daily and monthly KPI reports.
  • Train new office associates.
  • Process shipments via customer portals.
  • Update and manage proof of delivery, prepare files for billing.
  • Communicate with Management any concerns and/or issues that may impact the company.
  • Communicate with Management any ideas and solutions that may benefit the company.
Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in supply chain, transportation, or distribution required.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management staff, employees, and service providers.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and proven experience in relationship management through business change and growth.
  • Strong analytical and organization skills.
  • Extremely proficient with MS Office programs and strong overall system skills (YMS, TMS, WMS).
Education Or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range

$60,000-$70,000*

  • The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
