Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking an Account Manager to support the San Diego, CA territory. You will drive territory sales, grow a portfolio of commercial and residential customers, and maintain strong relationships while coordinating with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.

The role requires 3–4+ years in outside sales or account management, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial customer accounts, building strong relationships that drive sales growth, customer retention, and long-term satisfaction.
• Prospect for new opportunities and achieve or exceed territory sales and margin objectives while serving as a trusted sales resource to customers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates on service activity, repairs, equipment status, and customer requests.
• Conduct regular customer meetings, both virtually and in person, throughout the San Diego territory.
• Identify renewal, repair, and account expansion opportunities within the existing customer base.
• Conduct sales planning and customer needs assessments to prioritize account growth and retention opportunities.
• Coordinate with customers, building teams, third-party vendors, and internal Operations teams to support service delivery and resolve customer concerns.
• Assist customers with billing inquiries, invoice corrections, and account-related questions.
• Partner with the branch business development sales team to identify additional business development and sales opportunities.
• Communicate customer feedback, competitive insights, and market trends internally to help strengthen solutions and sales strategies.
• Maintain an accurate CRM sales pipeline, track opportunities, and provide timely sales forecasts.

Salary Transparency

The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $95,000 plus generous incentive structure. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
