POSITION SUMMARY

Maximize customer satisfaction and team efficiency. Ensure the safety of team members and customers. Achieve gross margin and profit goals. Manage Service Techs to achieve project deadlines, quality and budget. Work with FS Admin & Techs to ensure billing is accurate, complete and timely. Work with Service Techs to ensure paperwork is accurate, complete and timely; advise when projects are complete to facilitate accurate and timely billings.

HIGH PAYOFF ACTIVITIES
Ensure Safety of Team Members and Customers
  • Make Safety a Priority in Work Related Decisions.
  • Identify and Address Safety Violations. Use as Teaching Tool.
  • Work with Safety Manager to Implement Department Specific Safety Meeting Agendas.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing level and workload distribution to meet customer and business needs
  • Organize and present monthly FS monthly meetings.
  • Evaluate workload and assist FS Project Coordinator with scheduling work in a way that best utilizes manpower and maximizes profits.
  • Ensure that materials and equipment are ordered and dispensed for scheduled jobs.
  • Generate reports and measures of departmental operations as well as records on all inventory and tools.
  • Assists the FS Project Coordinator with dispatching operation to ensure appropriate technician selection for type of project.
  • Participate in weekly labor meetings with FS Superintendent and FS Project Coordinator to ensure schedule and manpower are accurate.
Manage Service Techs to Achieve Project Deadlines, Quality and Budget
  • Conduct monthly performance discussions with direct reports. Help keep them focused on their High Payoff Activities.
  • Provide Team Feedback on Performance and Coaching for Improvement and Motivation.
  • Identify and Address Training Needs for Each Team Member.
  • Help Team Members Identify and Solve Problems.
  • Communicate Project Budget and Budget Updates to Techs.
Achieve Gross Margin and Profit Goals
  • Ensure proper job costing to maintain a minimum $100 RPMH on projects.
  • Create and manage project budgets.
  • Review techs weekly timesheets to ensure that employees are paid properly.
  • Control Department Labor and General and Administrative (G&A) Costs. Participate in monthly financials meeting with FS Manager.
  • Retain Current Clients, i.e. site visits, job walks, lunches and timely response to questions or concerns.
  • Work with existing and new clients to up sell additional work and services i.e. Preventative maintenance, Thermal imaging, Lighting retrofits.
Ensure Billing is Accurate and Timely.
  • Work with Techs to Ensure the Field Paperwork is Accurate, Complete and On Time.
  • Work with FS Project Coordinator to Screen Tech’s Billing Emails for Accuracy and Completeness.
  • Email SOV to FS Project Coordinator within 48 Hours of Project Completion for Billing.
Maximize Customer Satisfaction
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Educate and assist customers in choosing services and products
  • Walk projects and prepare comprehensive proposals
  • Focus on developing new customer relationships
  • Participate in association training, social media, and network events.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance strategic partnerships/alliances with clients, vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers to execute on strategy.
  • Communicate with FS clients via email or phone regarding scheduling information and confirming start time or delays.
  • Stay knowledgeable on market demands and opportunities to leverage company capabilities with current anticipated market needs.
Other Tasks & Responsibilities
  • All other tasks associated with project completion, i.e. verifying material quantities before ordering, code compliance, value engineering, subcontractor quotes and contracts, design modification consulting, monitor supplier performance
  • Other duties as assigned
