Key responsibilities include preparing renewal materials, coordinating with underwriters, onboarding new clients, and maintaining data in Epic and MS Office. Some travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

  • P&C license is required.
  • Minimum of two years Commercial Lines experience.
  • Ability to work within Epic and maintain data completeness standards.
  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Experience with MS Office products (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Holding or pursuing general insurance designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the day-to-day contact for client requests within a book of business with direction from the Account Executive and prepares renewal materials.
  • Partners with AE on client interactions, negotiations, technical analysis, and program design.
  • Supports AE with new client onboarding.
  • Building ability to anticipate problems through client or underwriter communications or industry changes.
  • Creates marketing submissions using client workbook and manages negotiations with carriers.
  • Receives quotes, reviews for accuracy and coverage, terms, and pricing; generates proposals for AE review.
  • Receives policies and issues instructions to COE; tracks changes during negotiations.
  • Performs premium allocations, surplus lines template preparation, COE templates, and basic policy endorsements.

Job description

Essential job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values

  • Serves as the day-to-day contact for all client requests within a book of business (primarily Mid-Market accounts OR Emerging accounts) with direction from the Account Executive and prepares (or delegates where applicable) all relevant renewal materials (Premium & loss summary, exposures, coverage comparison, premium & rate, etc.)
  • Partners with AE on client interactions, negotiations, technical analysis, and program design
  • Supports AE with new client onboarding
  • Building ability to anticipate problems through client or underwriter communications or industry changes
  • Using the client workbook, and under the direction of the Account Executive, creates the marketing submission and manages ongoing negotiates with carriers
  • Receives quotes, reviews for accuracy and desired coverages, terms, pricing from submission, generates and populates the proposal, and sends to Account Executive for completion/review
  • Receives policies, sends instructions to the applicable COE, and keeps COE abreast of any changes that occur during negotiations with ability to process the policy if needed
  • Performs premium allocations, surplus lines template preparation, Certificate of Insurance request template preparation & master approval, on-demand certificates, basic contract reviews, policy endorsements, resolving coverage and premium discrepancy issues, and audits on expired and/or non-renewed policies

Required Experience and Skillsinclude but are not limited to:

  • P&C license required
  • Min of two years Commercial Lines experience required
  • Ability to work within Epic and maintain data completeness standards
