Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring an Account Manager. In this role you will drive daily security operations and guide a team of officers and supervisors to deliver exceptional service in client environments.

You will manage scheduling, develop personnel, strengthen client relationships, and respond to incidents while ensuring compliance with site standards and budgetary controls.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive when needed.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in business operations, security management, or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading, developing, and retaining a dynamic team while building positive client relationships.
  • Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments, and law enforcement coordination.
  • Proficiency with web-based applications and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and employees while managing multiple projects and driving operational excellence.
  • Financial acumen; able to manage staffing levels while minimizing non-billed overtime and managing turnover costs; planning and organizing inventory costs.

Allied Universal is hiring an Account Manager. As an Account Manager, you drive daily security operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of the people and places you protect. You will guide, develop, and motivate your team of security officers and supervisors to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities
  • Manage scheduling: Leverage AI-powered technology to schedule security officers, meeting client contract hours while minimizing unbilled overtime.
  • Lead and Develop Security Teams: Hire, coach, and manage security officers and supervisors while overseeing payroll, performance, and employee relations.
  • Enhance Client Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service that protects people and property.
  • Handle Security Incidents and Emergencies: Respond to escalated issues professionally, coordinating with clients and internal teams.
  • Direct Compliance and Security Operational Excellence: Oversee training, safety, and site operational standards, and manage inventory (uniforms, equipment, and other essential supplies).
Qualifications (Must Have)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • Valid driver’s license if driving a company or personal vehicle while conducting business
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in business operations, security management, or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in leading, developing, and retaining a dynamic team while building positive client relationships
  • Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments, and law enforcement coordination
  • Proven ability to evaluate situations, make sound independent decisions, and resolve conflicts efficiently
  • Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and employees while managing multiple projects and driving operational excellence
  • Financial acumen; able to manage staffing levels while minimizing non-billed overtime and managing turnover costs; planning and organizing skills to control costs related to inventory (uniforms, equipment, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
  • College degree in Business Administration or a law enforcement-related field
  • Law enforcement, military, and/or contract or proprietary security services, or facility management experience
  • American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), International Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification
  • Previous payroll, billing, or scheduling experience
  • Aptitude with security systems: CCTV, access control, and badge administration
  • Graduate of certified public safety academy (e.g., Law Enforcement, Firefighter/Paramedic, Corrections Officer)
