Job summary

The Freeman Company is seeking an Account Manager to coordinate cross-department efforts on exhibit projects, ensuring timely progress and effective client communication. You will liaise with design, detailing, estimating and production, while tracking deadlines and managing daily activities.

The role supports the Growth team and requires a hybrid schedule with in-office/show-site work about three days per week. Travel up to 25% is expected to support installations and on-site client needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required.
  • Minimum of three years of exhibit account management experience in the tradeshow or related industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally (verbal & written).
  • Ability to manage several projects and changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with all internal departments to manage account projects.
  • Facilitate information flow between design, detailing, estimating, production and clients.
  • Track production and deadlines to ensure progress of client workflows.
  • Schedule and lead account, design, and production meetings; involve Account Director as needed.
  • Direct/manage show service requirements with Client Services Department.
  • Manage and process client estimates and invoicing.
  • Travel up to 25% for on-site support including install/dismantle supervision.
  • Support Growth team with hybrid work schedule requirements.

Summary

The Account Manager will act as liaison on specific account projects by coordinating work with all internal departments; facilitating information between design, detailing, estimating, production, client(s) and Account Director(s) and tracking production and deadlines to ensure continued progress of client workflow. Be responsible for all of the daily tactical activities, affording the Account Director(s) time to invest in building stronger relationships with existing clients and cultivating new clients. Applicants must have knowledge and experience in the tradeshow industry.

This position will support our Growth (Sales) team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations:

  • Philadelphia, PA
  • Fort Wayne, IN
  • Royal Oak, MI
  • Grand Prairie, TX
  • Las Vegas, NV
  • Interact and communicate directly with client.
  • Maintain and update all internal processes, schedules and communications.
  • Schedule and manage account, design and production meetings (Account Director to participate depending on size and magnitude of project).
  • Direct/manage show service requirements with Client Services Dept.
  • Manage and process client estimates and invoicing.
  • Project management of all small projects per the direction of the Account Director.
  • Prepare all written correspondence as directed by the Account Director.
  • Management of Graphic needs, approvals and tracking.
  • Some travel required for on-site support including supervision of installtion/dismantle and third-party vendors and meeting all client needs.

  • Participate as a team player in providing overall value to the company.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required

  • A minimum of three years of exhibit account management experience in the tradeshow or related industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
  • Ability to anticipate problems, pro-actively determine solutions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally (verbal & written).
  • Ability to work flexible hours under extreme pressure and deadlines.
  • Ability to manage several projects at one time and changing priorities.
  • Ability to assume responsibility for completion of projects in the absence of direct supervision.
