Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking a site-based client relations specialist to serve as the primary client contact at the Houston site. You will coordinate between the client and Crane Worldwide operations, manage KPI issues, and escalate shipment problems for prompt resolution.

Responsibilities include overseeing client requests, guiding workflows, and supporting new client implementations while training staff on warehouse systems and processes.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years’ experience or combination experience and education.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escalate shipment issues to the client for prompt resolution.
• Manage all client requests and follow up to meet client needs.
• Guides work and may set priorities; no authority to hire or terminate.
• Manage client reports and assure accuracy.
• Plan layout of warehouse and storage areas considering turnover and size.
• Lead or assist in new client implementations from a systems/process perspective.
• Collaborate with operational staff and client’s staff to implement processes.
• Learn to operate, navigate, and train employees on warehouse systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Acts as primary contact with client at that particular site and is available to the client for escalation when necessary
• Work as intermediary for communication between client and their operations teams and Crane Worldwide network
• Maintain and identify problems with client KPI’s
• Escalate all issues with a shipment immediately to the client to insure prompt resolution
• Manage all client requests and follow up to insure that the client needs are met
• Guides work: May organize, set priorities, schedule and review work, but has no responsibility to hire, terminate, review performance or make pay decisions
• Responsible for managing the client reports and assuring accuracy
• Plans layout of warehouse and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored.
• Lead or assist in new client implementation requirements from a system, process, and documentation standpoint.
• Work directly with the operational staff, leadership, and client’s staff to understand business requirements, and how to implement new processes to accomplish mutual goals.
• Learn to operate, navigate, and train CWW Employees on warehouse systems, processes, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED/Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3 to 5 years’ experience or combination experience and education

Certifications & Licenses

• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
