Base pay range

$255,400.00/yr - $320,200.00/yr

Your Impact

Join us as an Account Executive in our Global Security Sales Organization! You are a highly motivated, entrepreneurial-minded sales professional with a curiosity about cybersecurity and a drive to improve security resiliency in our customers and communities. You are a self-starter with a learning and competitive attitude. Cisco Account Executives are creative challengers who build strong relationships through planning and accountability. You’ll hunt for opportunities to position Cisco’s security portfolio and cross-sell with all Cisco solutions to maximize security value for customers and partners.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead security account plans and strategies for each assigned region and accounts, utilizing all available resources (executive sponsors, marketing, technical, services, Cisco on Cisco, etc.).
  • Drive double-digit revenue growth through new project identification, creation, and attachment opportunities.
  • Forecast and report activity accurately in Salesforce.com.
  • Identify major projects within large accounts and lead activities to increase product and service revenue.
  • Provide customers and partners with pricing and configurations to meet their needs.
  • Forge high-level relationships within strategic accounts to win incremental business.
  • Partner with technical resources to ensure technical excellence in positioning, analysis, proposals, and exchanges.
  • Collaborate with the Cisco Channel Team and authorized partners on sales opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in security solutions.
  • Experience in direct sales, working in a matrixed organization, and with partners.
  • Knowledge of network security technologies (Intrusion Detection, Firewall, VPN, etc.) or SaaS security offers.
  • Good understanding of the Security Market.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS/BA or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, able to succeed in a dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage large geographic plans across multiple accounts.
  • MEDDPICC experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel is required.
