Job summary

Silverline Communications in Arlington, VA, seeks an Account Executive with 2–4 years of PR experience to support client campaigns in clean energy and climate tech.

You’ll collaborate with a seasoned team to land media coverage, craft content, and build thought leadership for clients ranging from cleantech startups to energy leaders. This full-time hybrid role requires strong storytelling and excellent communication. Minimum in-person days are two per week in Arlington.

Qualifications

Position Overview

We are seeking an Account Executive with 2-4 years of experience to play a hands‑on role supporting high‑impact client campaigns including media relations, content development, thought leadership and digital strategy. You’ll collaborate with a seasoned team of specialized communicators to help clients—ranging from cleantech startups to renewable energy leaders—amplify their message, land earned media coverage and build thought leadership in the industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the clean energy landscape, have a knack for building relationships, and a proven track record fostering teamwork to deliver high-impact PR results.

This position is full time hybrid with a minimum of 2 days per week in person in Arlington, VA.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedules client-related team meetings and conference calls and/or events as needed
• Take responsibility for junior level client relationships
• Understand larger client timelines and priorities

• Research, draft, edit and proofread press releases, and corporate communications materials
• Nurture solid relationships with media and industry analysts

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of public relations experience, ideally in clean energy, tech, or sustainability sectors. Prior agency experience preferred.

The compensation range for this position is approximately $55-65,000 annually, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. Exceptionally qualified candidates may be considered outside of this range and/or at a more senior level where appropriate.
