Job summary

HUB International is hiring an Account Executive II for our Personal Lines team on a Hybrid work schedule in the United States. The role focuses on managing a book of Middle Market clients, processing daily account activity, and supporting the accounting team with premium charges.

The position requires 3–5 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree, strong Excel/Word skills, and Applied Epic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand, analyze, and research different lines of insurance.
• Good typing skills and computer literacy.
• Ability to work within designated time frames.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• College degree or relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Maintaining account folders in accordance with internal Quality Control guidelines.
• Check policy coverages and endorsements on all new business and renewals for accuracy and relevance.
• Complete specs, prepare proposals, policy summaries and reviews.
• Ability to use various online rating systems.
• Process endorsements, placement requests and invoicing: Credit, Debit, Monthly reports.
• Review policies for accuracy and adequacy of coverage, including rating calculations.
• Assist with Accounting department on research and justification of premium charges as compared with endorsements and invoices.
• Handle or refer insured’s and underwriter’s questions.
• Perform other specific duties as directed by the department manager &/or team leads.
• Pursue a program of professional development

The expected pay range for this position is $78,000 annually to $85,000 annually and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and work location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
