The Account Executive - Advanced Hemostasis and Healing will:

  • Own the full range of Ethicon offerings of surgical devices and solutions, including hemostasis, energy sealing and dissection, surgical stapling, and wound closure platforms. The focus will be on growing our hemostasis and wound closure platforms.
  • Sell surgical solutions to surgeons and hospital decision-makers, primarily in an operating room setting.
  • Be assigned a sales territory focusing on specific physicians and hospital institutions.
  • Be responsible for attaining sales forecasts within their assigned accounts/territory.
  • Set priorities and make sound business decisions based on sales opportunities within accounts.
  • Understand and demonstrate proper use of products to clinicians in the operating room.
  • Manage customer questions and objections in line with product indications and sales training methodology.
  • Execute the sales cycle effectively, professionally, ethically, and in compliance with healthcare regulations, leading customers to action.
  • Conduct sales presentations using current methods learned in training.
  • Analyze data, stay updated on market information, and develop business plans based on sales opportunities.
  • Build strong customer relationships with physicians, hospital staff, and distributors, and conduct customer education seminars as appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 1 year of relevant medical sales or healthcare experience demonstrating achievement of sales objectives
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven sales performance, ability to target accounts, and achieve results through action plans and collaboration.
  • Experience in hospital-based pharmaceutical or medical device sales, especially in operating rooms, and with highly educated/high-profile customers.
  • Experience in developing new markets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Team-oriented attitude.

Note: Salary will depend on experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated base pay range is $80,000-$144,000. This position may include a company car through the FLEET program. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, legal insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
