Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Hospice Liaison in the Aiken area to drive outside sales and grow referrals for home health and hospice services. You will educate healthcare professionals, patients, and families about home care options and build lasting relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, and physician offices to generate leads.

This full-time role offers a base salary of $65,000–$85,000 with monthly incentives, travel of 50%+ within the territory, and comprehensive benefits including health

Qualifications

• One year of experience in healthcare-related business development/outreach.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation with driver's license and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Educates health care professionals, patients, and families about home care services.
• Develops and maintains relationships with key referral sources (hospitals, nursing homes, physician offices).
• Coordinates patient admissions with the team and completes referral-to-admission process.
• Conducts on-site visits to assess patient needs and barriers to care.
• Keeps accurate records of patient interactions and referrals in CRM.
• Meets admissions, product, and payor-mix goals.
• Document minimum daily sales calls in CRM with notes.
• Attend community events to promote Amedisys.
• Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner.

A background in cold calling customers in pharmaceuticals, medical device sales, hospital, home health, hospice or long-term care is ideal.

Attractive pay

• Base salary between $65,000 - $85,000 (based on experience)

• Conducts on-site visits to assess patient needs and identify barriers to care.
• Keeps accurate records of patient interactions and referrals.
• Achieves admissions, product, and payor-mix goals.
• Meets short and long-term target account goals.
• Documents the minimum expectation of sales calls daily in CRM (including pre and post call notes).
• Maintains a complete, up-to-date record of targeted referral sources in territory in CRM.
• Attends community events to promote Amedisys.
• Responds to customer complaints in timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a healthcare related business development/outreach role. A bachelors degree is preferred, but not required.
• Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and liability insurance.

Please note: This role will travel 50% or more within the assigned territory.
