Performance Foodservice, a PFG broadline distributor, seeks a sales-focused professional to manage a geographic territory and meet sales and gross profit goals. You will build relationships with independent restaurants and facilities, presenting menus and solutions while leveraging marketing materials and support teams.
Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in foodservice sales, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license; a Bachelor's degree and nutrition credentials are a plus.
Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers - providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies. The Performance team delivers delicious food but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.
We Deliver the Goods:
Manages a geographical sales territory, ensuring customer needs are met, and budgeted sales and gross profit objectives are achieved/exceeded. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
2 - 4 years of foodservice sales experience.
Valid Driver's License.
Bachelor's Degree: Business management, sales/marketing or related area
Nutrition certification/degree Preferred
Experience in school foodservice management
4 - 6 years of foodservice sales experience
