Job summary

Sinclair Broadcast Group's AMP Sports division is seeking an Account Executive in Los Angeles to lead omni-channel sports sales across Tennis Channel assets, podcasts, and digital platforms. You will forge and nurture agency relationships, educate clients on AMP Sports offerings, and craft compelling sponsorships that integrate with marketing teams.

The role requires a BA and 5–10 years of ad sales experience, with a track record in digital, social, and linear channels.

Qualifications

• BA degree required.
• 5-10 years of advertising sales experience, preferably in digital, social, and linear sales.
• Strong agency & client relationships and proven follow-up for multi-platform sales.
• Excellent written and presentation skills and team player mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing and forge new relationships with agencies and clients to maximize revenue for AMP Sports assets.
• Sell a variety of sports solutions across the AMP Sports portfolio (linear, digital, podcasts, social, experiential).
• Educate agencies and clients about AMP Sports assets and sponsorship opportunities.
• Position and sell networks against the competitive marketplace.
• Create multi-level sponsorship packages and collaborate with Marketing on branded content.
• Prepare sales presentations and proposals independently and with the team.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Maintain existing and forge new relationships with agencies and clients to maximize revenue for the various assets.
• Sell a variety of sports solutions across the AMP Sports portfolio.
• Educate agencies and client community about AMP Sports’ assets.
• Position and sell the networks against the competing marketplace.
• Sell and orchestrate multi-level sponsorship packages with major advertisers.
• Work closely with Marketing to build customized branded content and sponsorship elements across linear and digital.
• Work both independently and as part of a close-knit team to create sales presentations and proposals.

Qualifications:

• BA degree required.
• Minimum 5-10 years of advertising sales experience, preferably in digital, social, and linear sales.
• Strong agency & client relationship.
• Proven track record of follow-up and success in the selling multi-platform opportunities.
• Solid analytical and organizational qualities.
• Excellent written and presentation skills.
• Ability to be a consummate team player and a goal-oriented thinker.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $130,000 to $140,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for a quarterly bonus, which would be awarded based on individual and company performance. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
